Building Energy Inc. hires former Microsoft executive as Vice President of Sales

Building Energy expands its leadership team with the addition of Chris Preston to accelerate adoption of its Better Buildings Platform.

Portland, OR, – August 05, 2015 – Building Energy Inc., a leader in enabling transformational improvements in building energy and resource efficiency, announces the hiring of Chris Preston as Vice President of Sales.

A veteran of the technology industry, Preston is a versatile executive and entrepreneur with over 15 years of hands-on experience leading businesses to scale software sales, both startup environments and larger companies including Microsoft.

Preston is an active member in Element 8 and the CleanTech Alliance in the Pacific Northwest. Preston has an MBA from Cornell University and graduated with honors in History and Art from Colby College.
